About mokume (wood grain) shibori
This is a shibori technique in which the fabric is sewn in parallel steps at intervals of 5 to 10 mm and squeezed.
Flat stitching is performed according to the lines of the fabric painted at regular intervals, and when it is tightened tightly to create irregular wrinkles and dyed, the dye does not enter the part tightened with the thread, and a streak pattern like wood grain is appeared.
